Roche

Roche office in Tehran
Remodeling
Construction duration: 7 months
Project area: 1600 m2

Our services included real-estate advisory, interior design, furniture design, component design such as light fittings, costumed partitions, sofas, counters etc., electrical, mechanical and lighting design, procurement management (for the materials to be imported from the foreign sources), site supervision and assistance in commissioning.
The client asked us to follow the design brief, respecting the organization chart and the corporate norms of the company, complying with HSE standards and taking care of several technical issues. We involved the client in the design process, through several workshops and provided it with the full 3d modeling of the office spaces including the furniture. Our supervision team included 4 resident experienced supervisors, 2 part time electrical and 2 part time mechanical engineers. In addition, we had a part time experienced HSE consultant, a project manager, a cost controller, a project controller and me as the chief designer and the project responsible. Most of the staff had master’s degree in architecture and engineering and no one without university degree. Three people of my team are university teachers.
During the construction time, our team faced several problems such as drastic reduction of the project budget (Client’s decision), sever depreciation of local currency and rigid limits on importation of construction and furniture items.
